The Daniels House Inn offers seven rooms to book between two properties; the Daniels House and the next-door Silsbee House. Both are original historic houses with characteristic features such as wood floors, exposed beams and fireplaces.
**There are two separate booking engines, one for each property and you will need to check availability on each individual Calendar.**
Great Room
The oldest room in the Daniels House. The spacious and opulently decorated Great Room was Stephen Daniels own bedroom from 1667. Located on the second floor of the Daniels House.

Located on the third floor of the Daniels House, the Marion Room has a quaint, rustic and romantic feel. With its low beamed ceilings, modest fireplace, and shabby chic furnishings, this room offers the coziest accommodations in the house.

Inspired by Salem’s maritime history and trade with the East Indies, this room has a distinctively Oriental vibe. Located on the third floor of the Daniels house. Decadently decorated to transport you back to old Salem.

Butler Room
The Butler Room is a warm and intimate space notable for its cast iron wood stove and cathedral ceiling. TYPICALLY RENTED AS PART OF A SUITE that includes one of the other rooms of the Daniels House, this bedroom accommodates a single person.

Silsbee Suite
The Silsbee Suite is a wonderful choice for families or a group that would prefer to have the luxuries of a home. The entire first floor of the Silsbee house is yours including private access to your own exclusive outdoor patio.

Canton Room
The Canton room on the second floor of the Silsbee House; decorated carefully with Victorian antiques and inspired by Salem's connection from trading with China. Canton was the main port of China frequented by Salem traders in the early 1800s Maritime Age.
