Canton Room
The Canton room on the second floor of the Silsbee House; decorated carefully with Victorian antiques and inspired by Salem's connection from trading with China. Canton was the main port of China frequented by Salem traders in the early 1800s Maritime Age. Reproduction wallpaper covers one entire wall next to the entrance to an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. Abundant windows provide plenty of natural light to showcase the beamed ceiling and original hardwood floors. You'll truly be transported to another era.
